Releases

Every build this hub has published, with its release notes, downloads and file sizes. Each package is self-contained — the Python backend and a headless Chromium ship inside it — and the binaries are unsigned, so verify the checksums.

Verify before you install. These Windows builds are not code-signed, so there is no signature to check — compare the hash instead, using the SHA256SUMS.txt attached to the same release: Get-FileHash .\<file> -Algorithm SHA256. SmartScreen will warn on first run; see the shot2code security notes and the install guide. Only the per-user .exe self-updates; MSI upgrades are administrator-managed.
Why some versions offer fewer files. This list mirrors every shot2code release published in this hub, and each card shows only what that release actually carries — not every build shipped all four formats, and published checksums arrived with 0.3.1, so earlier releases are not advertised as having them. All files under a release is the complete attachment list, including the updater's own inputs (latest.yml and the .exe.blockmap); those are how the app updates itself, so they are never offered as one of the download choices above. The canonical history, tagged vX.Y.Z and used as the updater feed, lives in the source repository, and this hub mirrors it under shot2code-vX.Y.Z tags. Release notes are published with each build; the summarised changelog starts at 0.3.0, because nothing earlier was tracked in one.
